Oh my, it has been long since I did anything here! I've been so busy! This is just gonna be a waffle-filled blog so feel free to tune out right aboooooouuuuuuuuuuut...NOW.

I've been so busy with university. People who are in high school or college will know that you have exams around January, and your exams are probably over now. But since I'm at university, things work a little differently for my course. I have assessment week every few months, which means I didn't have January exams for once. w00t! BUT it means I have craploads of work to do now. Booooo! My next assessment week is 15th - 19th February I think. I'll have exams then, and for now I have a project to do.

For this project I have to create a booklet on half the teeth in your mouth (since all teeth are in pairs, no point doing the same tooth twice, gets me?) So yeh, 16 pages with detailed descriptions of every tooth, including detailed sketches. But we still have to keep it short, so it's a pain in the arse tryna have loads of detail but still keep it brief. Plus I spent £50 on a book on dental anatomy and now my biosciences lecturer said we need to use more than one source. But all the good dental books have been taken out of the library already by people on my course and I can't find decent websites. So I'm a little screwed at the moment.

But yeh anywayz, on top of that project I have to make an A3 poster on radiographs. I'm kinda looking forward to that more because it seems more fun, so I'm hoping I finish the booklet soon!
I'm also going to be given another assignment next week I think which is in for March. On top of all that I have to revise! So everything right now is hectic!!! I'm just focusing on the end of this school year; 26th March!! Can't wait, even though I'll have to revise for summer exams.

That's why I've been so crap at blogging. I've wanted to blog, but I've just not had the time. I reallllllllly want to update too; wanna put up a new layout and add stuff for yous, so I hope I find time soon!

And OMG it's snowing, AGAIN!

Need to RANT! WARNING: It's gonna be long lol. And may have a couple of bad words in hahaha.

Ok so since October I've been taking driving lessons, I normally have one lesson a week, but I had a month or two off due to stuff like bad weather illness blah blah blah. So I've not had many and I was hoping to get back to having consistant lessons now that the snow has all gone and stuff. But my instructor has been AWFUL! She has this 24hour notice rule; if you need to cancel a lesson for whatever reason I have to let her know at least a day in advance, seems fair enough right? Well I was meant to have a lesson on Tuesday at 2pm, but on Monday I wasn't feeling well so I needed to cancel, and I had cancelled previous lessons and everything went fine. But this time this is bascially how it went down;

Me: I need to cancel my lesson, I'm ill.
Instructor: I'm going to charge you for the lesson if you cancel. (My reaction: WTF?!)
Me: Why!? You never did this before. I'm not gonna get charged for nothing.
Instructor: It's the rules. See you at 10:30am for your lesson.
Me: My lesson's at 2pm, not 10:30am. I'm not switching.
Instructor: I texted you last week to say I'm changing you around to fit someone else in.
Me: No, it's not fair to move a time convenient for me just so you can get more customers, don't assume I'm free whenever you're happy to do a lesson.
Instructor: Well you should've told me.
Me: You shouldn't have switched me (DUH!), you do it all the time! It's not fair on me.
Instructor: Fine, I'll move other people around. See you at 1:30pm.
Me: Fine. (My reaction: 'Tard)

So Tuesday came and I felt even more ill and I had SO much work to do so I texted her again and this is what happened,

Me: I NEED to cancel and I won't be having lessons for a while because I need to focus on university work, so we don't really need you for a while. (Basically: You're fired.)
Instructor: Awww that's a shame. Let me know when a convenient time is for me to come pick up your money. (My reaction: THE NERVE!)
Me: WTF?! I'm not paying for a lesson I've not had! No way my parents will pay either, it's ridiculous!
Instructor: Well it's the rules; If I cancel a lesson I have to pay out of my own money! The money's due for the franchise on Friday.

This was bullshit! Firstly no where does it say in her rules that if she no longer works for me, I still have to pay for the lesson I cancelled. That's like me working for some one, being fired and still demanding my wages.
Secondly where did her franchise point come from! Just weeks ago, she said she works for herself, and it's her business. Plus on her website it has her mobile and her house number. Surely if it was someone else's business then it'd have like a company phone number, not a personal one. She thinks I'm stupid!
Thirdly, no way does she pay out of her own pocket if she cancels, because who's she gonna pay? Herself?! And she ALWAYS cancelled, she would never give me 24hour notice. She'd like text me 30mins-1hour before the lesson saying I gotta cancel, see you next week. And because I never wanted to cause a fuss, I wouldn't tell her no, but I got sick of being a push-over. Why do the rules not apply to her?!

Me: I'm not paying, my parents aren't paying for something I didn't have.
Instructor: Well you're gonna have to, or just have a lesson on the weekend.

She totally screwed up her "franchise money due on Friday" point! If I had a lesson on the weekend how would her payment add up?! Again, 'TARD!
Basically it went on like that for a while, then I just stopped texting her, no point wasting my credit.
So yeh basically she's fired. Dumb bitch thought she could screw me over. She ruined my Free-Day-Tuesday; I was ill anyways so I was grumpy and she made it worse.

Lesson for everyone: Be careful with your money, don't let anyone screw you over.
